Inside Sales Representative:

  • Receiving, placing, and filling customer orders

  • Placing and receiving purchase orders

  • Invoice processing

  • Data entry

  • Filing, office supply orders, misc. office management tasks

  • Prior sales experience in the construction industry is preferred

  • Excellent communication/phone skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office

  • Well organized with attention to detail

  • Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently

  • Ability to move from one task to another efficiently

  • Some construction supply/equipment knowledge

Experience:

Outside Sales Representative:

General Manager:

  • Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction

  • Establishes budgets and projections and drives the business to these metrics

  • Provides direction and coordination for all areas of dealership operation.

  • Establishes and communicates operating policies and procedures for dealership.

  • Communicates directly with the owner on all aspects of the business.

  • Drives staff to exceed daily goals; inspires and motivates employees to maximize productivity.

  • Ensures all departments maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives.

  • Provides appropriate training for team to achieve high volume production.

  • Ensures highest level of customer satisfaction and prompt follow up to all customers.

Experience:

  • General Management: 5 years (Required)

  • Sales Management: 5 years (Required)

  • Experience in construction supply 3 years (Required)

Material Handling/Driving:

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Light mechanical ability

  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Forklift capable or able to learn

  • Able to push, pull equipment

  • Able to work with customers

  • Clean cut – neatly groomed

  • Reliable attendance, honest, hard working, productive

  • Good communication skills

  • Valid and clean Washington State drivers license – must be insurable

  • Work in a team environment

  • Work quickly and efficiently

  • Treat all customers and fellow employees courteously and professionally

Experience:

  • construction supplies and equipment: 2 years (Preferred)
